New Ki Utsuri Now Available – Plus Jumbo Tosai and More
We’ve now completed the final harvests from last year’s tosai ponds, and we’re pleased to release the last batch of koi from these spawnings. This includes a special selection of Ki Utsuri bred from our brand new parent set. The males and females for our new breeding set were hand-picked for us by Maruhiro, specifically to help us develop this as a new variety for Byer Koi Farm.
This weekend, we’ve brought a range of individual Ki Utsuri into the sales room, priced at £75 each. These striking black and yellow koi have been gaining a lot of interest lately – if you’d like to learn more about what makes them special, check out our recent blog post: Ki Utsuri – The Unique Black and Yellow Gem of the Koi World.
Some Ki Utsuri have also been added to our 6–8 inch mix, starting at £40 each, and can be bundled with other koi from either the 6–8 inch mix or the Japanese tosai mix. For example, you can purchase a bundle of 5 koi for £160.
In addition, we have a limited number of jumbo tosai Karashigoi available, including both Mango and Aka Karashigoi types. You'll also find some more Shusui, particularly Hanna Shusui and others that are predominantly bluish with minimal red markings. These too are from our 2024 spawnings.
