We’ve now completed cataloguing the harvest from two ponds of nisai this week, and have just close to 60 koi prepared for online release this Friday evening at our usual time of 8pm.

From 8pm on Friday night, you'll find the new koi listed on our individual koi for sale page - here's a link sorting the - koi for sale - newest koi to the top. All the koi catalogued this week go live on the website at 8pm.

At Byer Koi Farm, we not only breed and raise our own koi here in the UK, but we also supply carefully selected imported Japanese koi—giving you access to a wide and diverse range of high-quality koi.

This week’s release is made up entirely of koi bred here on the farm in 2024. These koi have now reached nisai, meaning they’ve completed their second summer with us and are looking fantastic.

Looking Ahead

Next week’s release will feature koi from two additional ponds of nisai, including Ki Utsuri, Shusui, and a range of Karashigoi—again all bred here last year and grown on the farm. We’ll also be releasing a selection of Japanese nisai that I hand-picked as tosai during my trip to Japan earlier this year. These include some exceptional Marudo Sanke, Hosokai Kujaku, and a few other exciting varieties.

Pricing

Our nisai typically range from £195 to £495, with the occasional standout koi priced higher. Full pricing will be available on the Koi for Sale page of our website from 8pm on Friday night.
