Jumbo koi fry (Round 1 , 2024)

These jumbo koi fry are from the round 1 spawnings from this year. We have found that the Jumbo Fry are mainly from 3 of the 5 round 1 spawnings; with most being from the Kikisui and Metallic Doitsu Ochiba spawning and some from a Goshiki spawning.
These jumbo fry are large in the spawning, and expect sizes in your mix to be 1.5-2 inch. The odd one might be a bit larger too,
Varieties in the mix include : Aragoke (various types), Doitsu Platinum, Doitsu Orengi, Doitsu Metallic Ochiba, Goshiki. And a few others in small numbers.
It's a well rounded mix of koi varieties, but very difficult to predict the ratios in the mix.
The picture shows the actual mix we are supplying from - so you can see the range of varieties, and the relative ratios from the picture. The picture is a good representation of the quality of fry you will receive. Every box of fry looks a little different because when we pack, it's a random scoop from the tank and then individual fry hand counted 1 by 1 into the bag.

We strongly recommend taking a food pack with the fry, to ensure they're kept on the same food which is a special food formulated for the specific nutritional needs of fry.

Koi delivery is via a specialist overnight fish courier service that we have been using successfully for many years.
Local pickup is available; choose that option in the checkout process, then once purchased, contact us to arrange collection.
For dry goods, the vast majority of items ordered before midday are shipped the same day, on an overnight service.
