Happy new year

Wishing you all a happy and healthy year ahead.

My end, the pressure is on this year to continue winning competitive placing at koi shows with koi I've bred myself. 2016 was a golden year in that regard with 2 baby champion awards and one being at the prestigious All England show.

When I review the tanks now, we have lots more Tosai growing on this winter compared to last, but it's going to be a few months before I know whether we have any of show winning potential. Usually at this stage I would have my eye on few - but this year , I'm struggling. Perhaps because most fry came from a very late spawning. Time will tell.

Update from around the tanks in the vid below and updates on nissai and older fish once I've brought the females tank to ambient in around a week or two's time.
