Koi Case Studies

Foreword

I keep track of some individual koi through their development to learn more about koi development, and also the breeding combinations I try out.

Mostly, I get this information by spending time observing the fish.  But I also photograph fish that I want to keep a track on when time allows.

What this means is that I can share a good deal of what I'm observing with you.

Please bear in mind that I track koi for different reasons.  Some are the best few from a spawning, that make all the hard work worth while.  But many koi I track will not be the lookers - you might even think it's strange that I've kept that fish through the selections.  But it will have a characteristic that I'm particularly interested in, and that's why I'm tracking it.

I'll separate the case studies by the spawning they came from.
